Franz von Steiner is a magnificent 12 month old German Shepherd. Franz is picture perfect and is breathtaking in his beauty. He is very sweet and just a big puppy. He was given up by his owners because he got too big. We got a call from the shelter when he was still being processed, the shelter staff wanted to make sure he got a good home. Our volunteer was there in a few minutes and got Franz. She had a luncheon appointment so Franz happily hung out in her SUV with a few treats to break up the time. Franz is a very well bred dog and someone must have gotten him from a well thought of breeder. He loves people and seems great with dogs, not cats, however. We are asking a donation of $500 to go for his care and to help with some of our more needy dogs.
